With his solo playing described as being “beautifully controlled with a vocal sound,” Italian trombonist Peter Steiner is recognized around the world as a “new trombone star within his generation.” He has performed as a guest principal trombonist with the New York Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic and other prestigious orchestras and has given solo recitals at the International Trombone Festival and in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. He earned a Performance Diploma from Juilliard in 2016 and released his debut CD, United, in January 2017. At his Meadows recital, Steiner will be accompanied by Austrian pianist Constanze Hochwartner.
