Organist Benjamin Kolodziej will accompany Buster Keaton's classic 1926 Civil War silent comedy, The General, in an authentic manner as would have been heard in picture palaces in the 1920s before the advent of the talkie, utilizing the "electronic Wurlitzer" courtesy of the North Texas Theatre Organ Society. Now considered one of the greatest silent films of all time, Keaton directed, produced, and acted in this humorous take on an actual historic event. This event, held in the parish hall, is free and enjoyable for all ages.
