Contemporary Mexican artist Gonzalo Lebrija initiates a clash between traditional Mariachi and the music of Wagner in this world-premiere performance. Dallas’s only all-female mariachi ensemble performs a newly commissioned work by composer Jesús Echevarría, within Lebrija’s original set design.
