La Frontera of Education: DCCCD Art Exhibition

Opening Reception: Friday, November 10, 2017, 6 to 8 pm
 
The LCC will present the work of art professors from the Dallas County Community College District’s campuses. DCCCD serves over 70,000 students annually, of which 37% are Latino/a, making the District the frontline of higher education for the growing Latino/a population in Dallas.

Featured artists include: Mary Becker, James Behan Du Chau, Chong Chu, David Connolly, Lisa Ehrich, Chaitra Garrick, Linda Gossett, Jill Foltz, Kathleen Janvier, Adam Knoche, Natalie Macellaio, Vargha Manshadi, Juliette McCullough, Cristina Medina, Eliana Miranda, Susan Mollet, David Newman, Shawn Saumell, Kristina Smith, Susan Sponsler-Carstarphen, Erin Stafford, Deborah Stenberg, Don Taylor, Amin Tejani, Wendi Ruth Valladares, Murielle White, and Marla Ziegler. Exhibition is curated by Victor Armenta. Exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public.
