The TCU History Department and TCU School of Music present a performance and historical lecture by pianist and recording artist Scott Watkins of Jacksonville University. Watkins will present the Piano Sonata, Op. 11, and Symphonic Rhapsody, Op. 14, two recently discovered works by Hanson, who was considered the dean of American composers at the time of his death in 1981. Scott Watkins is professor of music at Jacksonville University.
