This concert will feature three of GDYO’s ensembles! Comprised of approximately 100 members, high school seniors or younger, the Philharmonic is a full symphony orchestra, under the direction of James Frank. This concert will also feature the winner of the Philharmonic Concerto Competition. The Wind Symphony is an ensemble of 55 to 60 wind, brass and percussion players who are high school seniors or younger, directed by Dr. Nicholas Williams. Under the direction of Priscilla Holt, the Flute Choir is an ensemble consisting of 14 members of the flute family: piccolo, C flute, alto flute and bass flute.
