The Dallas Arts District is closing the streets for the annual Summer Block Party with Crow Collection of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, and Klyde Warren Park. This family-friendly event features live concerts, guided tours, local brews, movie screenings and much more. Summer Block Party is FREE and lasts until midnight.
Enjoy on-the-street performances by Tauvy Thompson, Jazz tunes by Thaddeus Ford Music Band, funk artist ronnie heart, Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Bandan Koro African Drum and Dance Ensemble, violin virtuoso Richmond Punch and a New Orleans-style Second Line with Michelle N. Gibson , the Artist accompanied by Kickin Brass Band!
’til Midnight at the Nasher Sculpture Center presents Doug Burr in concert, followed by acclaimed singer-songwriter Sarah Jaffe and a screening of La La Land (2016) PG-13.
