Kids in the Cliff - The Paper Bag Princess

The Wild Detectives

Kids in the Cliff is back! Bring your little ones for morning story time at The Wild Detectives. Anastasia Munoz (artistic director of Arts Mission Oak Cliff) will read Robert Munsch’s The Paper Bag Princess. In this story, the princess rescues the prince AND defeats the dragon.

Anastasia Munoz is the artistic and education director of Arts Mission Oak Cliff, a performing arts co-working and education center in Winnetka Heights. Munoz, a native Dallasite, has been working as a professional theatre artist and arts educator for the past 11 years. She has worked all over town: Dallas Theater Center, Shakespeare Dallas, Dallas Children’s Theater, Undermain Theatre, Watertower Theater, Theatre 3, Casa Manana, Stage West, Amphibian Productions, Ochre House, Drama Club, and Shakespeare in the Bar. She is a voice actor for FUNimation Entertainment, voicing several anime commanders, scientists, mothers, and teachers. She is currently playing Aunt Spiker in the Dallas Children’s Theater production of James and the Giant Peach. Her next project is leading summer camps in her favorite neighborhood at Arts Mission Oak Cliff!

It’ll be a 25-minute read followed by a short discussion with the kids–that’s going to be interesting, we can’t wait to see what they come up with.

The book is geared for ages 4-7, but all ages are welcome.

On Saturday morning bring your kids and infuse them with a love for reading.
