Spheres of Music: Benefiting the North Texas Food Bank

Zion Lutheran Church

Music of the cosmos takes center stage, including four stellar choral premieres by Dallas composers: "Mars, Over the Horizon" by Debra Scroggins; "The Traveling Earth" by Jim Loeffler; "Pluto’s Thoughts" by Tom Council; and "To a Star" by Rick Holt.

You’ll also enjoy Randall Thompson’s ethereal "Choose Something Like a Star" and the affirming "This Earth" by Dallas’ own Dede Duson. Plus, organist Jim Loeffler plays movements from "The Planets" by Gustav Holst, and baritone David Grogan sings "Fly Me to the Moon."

Benefiting the North Texas Food Bank. Bring items for the food drive and get a $10 ticket discount. Reception provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes.
