Look, listen, move, create, collaborate! The Kimbell is calling all art and music lovers (ages 6–12) for a fun-filled week exploring how artists of all kinds inspire each another. Each afternoon, campers will learn how great European masters like Picasso, Matisse, Klee, and Kandinsky found inspiration in other art forms like music, dance, and poetry. Guest performers and daily studio-art projects in different media will inspire connections with early twentieth-century art movements and individual creativity. Offered in conjunction with the special exhibition A Modern Vision: European Masterworks from the Phillips Collection.
The materials fee is $225 ($180 for Kimbell members). A light snack will be provided.
