We're excited to introduce the Trio Phantasy of Austrian composer Joseph Marx to our audience! He could be called a late romantic impressionist, as one can hear stylistic aspects with the music of Debussy, Ravel, Strauss, Brahms and Mahler, yet his sound is his own. Of course, we cannot have an Austrian themed concert without including the music of the famous musical, that porrtayed the Von Trapp family of Austria; the Sound of Music by Rodgers and Hammerstein! We promise at least one sing-along! The hour long concert is followed by a party with dessert buffet and pianist who takes requests, BYOB or complimentary soft drinks and wine. Concert artists: Violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, cellist Karen Maddox Smith, tenors Don O'Neal LeBlanc and Sergio Cepeda, and soprano Judith Rodriguez.
