Teatro Dallas presents The Invaders by Egon Wolff, one of Latin America’s most controversial and award-winning playwrights, with a superb translation by Margaret Peden, the play is directed by Cora Cardona.
A wealthy family is slowly invaded by people from ”the other side of the river.” This horror tale is chillingly topical and sadistically funny.
Playwright Egon Wolff (1926-2016) was born in Santiago, Chile to German immigrant parents. He studied performing arts at Yale University, and his work explores political, surrealist, and existential themes.
The Invaders performed by Byron Holder, Grisel Cambiasso, Omar Padilla, Barbie Bernier, Robin Clayton, J.R. Bradford, Martin Mejia, and Max Torres.
