Creating Art with Line, Composition, Value & Color

This is the perfect class for the novice or active artist who wants to review the basic principles of painting! The course will cover the elements of art (line, shape, form, color, value, texture, and space), composition, and principles of design. Students will study examples of paintings, observe the instructor's demonstrations, and create artwork of their own. Class will meet on three consecutive Saturdays: June 10, 17 and 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
