Spectrum Chamber Music Society East Spring Concert


First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church - Fort Worth

We invite you to attend the final concert of our 31st season at First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church in east Fort Worth, featuring world-renowned dramatic soprano Jeanne-Michele Charbonnet.

Ms. Charbonnet will be featured in the dramatic tone poem Il Tramonto (The Sunset) for Mezzo-Soprano and String Quartet by late-Romantic Italian composer Ottorino Respighi, along with Jennifer Betz and Molly Baer, violins, Daniel Sigale, viola, and Allan Steele, cello.

She will then sing the beautiful Zwei Gesange for Mezzo-Soprano, Viola and Piano by Johannes Brahms, which will also feature Daniel Sigale, viola, and Shields-Collins Bray, piano.

The second half of the concert is devoted to the grand Octet in F Major, D.803 by Franz Schubert, featuring Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra musicians Ivan Petruzziello, clarinet, Kevin Hall, bassoon, Molly Norcross, horn, Jennifer Betz and Molly Baer, violins, Daniel Sigale, viola, Allan Steele, cello, and William Clay, bass.

A freewill donation of $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors is suggested for this performance.

A free post-concert reception will follow the program.
