Art Exhibit: Cherie Fruehan - Faces | Art&Seek | Arts, Music, Culture for North Texas

Emerging artist Cherie Fruehan is best known for her distinctive bold faces conveyed through various mediums including oils, acrylics and resins applied to canvas, wood and lucite. Primarily self taught, Fruehan’s work lends itself to a synthesis of Neo-Expressionism and Pop Art, frequently altering a recognizable subject into something unique by utilizing vivid colors, or by completely distorting the form into an abstract interpretation.

A “pop-up” shop featuring jewelry designed and handcrafted by Cherie Fruehan will be introduced during the exhibit. This is a new concept at Blue House Too that will occasionally “pop-up “ and feature local artisan’s smaller scale, handcrafted items, as well as other arts-related wares.
