Mark your calendar for April 20-23, 2017 for the Crossroads of Texas Film Festival! This year, the theme is "Trailblazers and Outlaws" and the programming features everything from stories about trailblazing Texans to movies about criminals trying to outrun the law.
As cast and special guests are confirmed, more details will be added here. Please know that special guest appearances, although we do anticipate they will join us, are subject to changes.
Tickets are on sale February 1, 2017 on our ticket page and options include:
VIP Pass: $125 each
Individual screening tickets: $10 each
Texas Tornados concert: $20 in advance, $25 at the door
**Must purchase VIP pass for admittance to VIP parties, no exceptions. Thursday, April 20:
6pm: BUDDY HOLLY STORY (Texas Theater) and opening night VIP party after on City Hall Landing with live music from the Vinyl Stripes
Friday, April 21:
11am: THE NEWTON BOYS (Texas Theater)
2pm: Trailblazing Texas Women in Film Panel (Sims Library Lyceum)
5-7pm: VIP Reception at Doves Nest
8pm: CRAZY HEART (Texas Theater)
8pm: DIRTY DANCING free outdoor screening at Getzendaner Park – bring lawn chairs or blankets
Saturday, April 22:
10am: Dedication of Walk of Fame Stones for Denver Pyle, Bill Ham, John Borders
11am: LONE STAR LAW (Texas Theater) We'll show an episode of the popular Animal Planet series "Lone Star Law", followed by a Q&A with Ellis County Game Warden Jeff Powell, who regularly appears on the show.
2pm: THE LAST PICTURE SHOW (Texas Theater)
3pm: Classic Car Show downtown and live music on the square (free to the public)
5pm: A SONG FOR YOU: 40 YEARS OF AUSTIN CITY LIMITS (Texas Theater)
8:30pm: Texas Tornados concert (With Shawn Sahm, Flaco Jimenez and Augie Meyers) at the Chautauqua Auditorium
Sunday, April 23:
10am: VIP “Sunday Morning Coming Down” Brunch at Webb Gallery
