Struggling writers Hunter and Jeff are trying to create a new musical for a new festival, but the deadline looms for them to have their submission considered. Trying to come up with a story, they realize that their conversation about what they should write about is what they should, well, write about! Helped by friends Larry, Susan, and Heidi, they make a pact to write up until the deadline.
