American Dirt is an exhibition of photographs found by Jeff Ferrell, the author of "The Empire of Scrounge," while dumpster diving. Ferrell's accumulation of these discarded photographs is an archaeology of American culture and the byproduct of oblivion and technological redundancy.
The project is organized by Gavin Morrison and Fraser Stables of Atopia Projects and is intended as a future book publication. The exhibition continues through April 17.
