The Creative Arts Center of Dallas (CAC), a nonprofit school of visual arts and community arts organization geared to beginning, emerging and working artists, will host “Process to Product: From Inspiration to Innovation” from Thursday, January 28 through Saturday, March 26. The exhibition, organized in honor of CAC’s 50thAnniversary, explores the journey of five CAC teaching artists from conception to a finished solution. Their experience, translated through their hands and hearts, using specific tools and materials, ultimately leads to a piece of finished art.
Curated by CAC Instructor Susan Giller, the show features the process and work of Lynn Armstrong, Rebecca Collins, Katrina Doran, Rebecca Swann and Terri Thoman, and will be repeated in additional shows this year showcasing a new group of CAC teaching artists each time this year. The exhibition on display Thursday, January 28 through Saturday, March 26, with an opening reception on Thursday, January 28 from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
