FONSECA - Viajante USA Tour

Seven-time Latin GRAMMY winner and two-time GRAMMY nominee FONSECA, obtained in 2019 a Latin Grammy® for ​Best Traditional Album- Pop ​for his latest album ​Agustín​ and scored four nods with his production in the following categories: ​Best Album of the Year (Agustin), Best Song of the Year (Ven), Best Vocal Album Traditional (Agustin) Best Pop Song (Ven).​

He first arrived to the music scene in 2002 with his album Fonseca, receiving great reception from music lovers and radio in his native country. Since then he has enjoyed countless achievements, among them: “Te Mando Flores” became the first international success of FONSECA, remaining more than 22 consecutive weeks in the # 1 position on radio. ​“Te Mando Flores” ​won a Latin GRAMMY®, for “Best Tropical Song” in 2006, while FONSECA was awarded a ​“Best New Tropical Artist​” by the Lo Nuestro ​and ​MTV Latin America Awards.

The production ​“Corazón”, also won ​“Best Tropical Album​” at Billboard Latin Music Awards (2006).
“Estar Lejos”, a song he recorded with one of the pioneers of salsa, Willie Colón and his famous song ​“Arroyito”, r​ eceived nominations for the ​Latin GRAMMY® ​awards.

He was part of United Nations programs including: “No More Violence Against Women”, making a historic concert in the Plaza de la Constitución in Guatemala City. Juanes joined FONSECA in the “Dream Is A Right” campaign against the recruitment of minors by illegal groups.

FONSECA was the winner of a ​Latin GRAMMY® 2012 in the category: ​“Best Tropical Fusion Album“​ for the production of ​Ilusión.
FONSECA SINFÓNICO DVD,​ a compilation of all of his hits was recorded in symphonic format with more than 100 musicians of the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, received his third Platinum Record for sales in Colombia and was winner of ​Latin GRAMMY® in 2014 as “Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album”.

“Vine a Buscarte”​ (Won ​Latin GRAMMY® 2016 in the “Best Tropical Song” category). Recognized with a ​Latin GRAMMY® 2016 for his CD TRIBUTE TO DIOMEDES DIAZ in the category “Best Cumbia / Vallenato Album”.

CONEXION​, was nominated for ​GRAMMY® 2017​ and ​Lo Nuestro 2017​ Award
“Simples Corazones” (original version) is a tribute to his city of Bogotá and the music video is part of a special campaign for ProColombia titled “Colombia Land of Sabrosura”.

Other honors received in 2019 include: Receiving recognition of the Order of Bocayá from the Government of the Republic of Colombia. This is the maximum recognition granted by the Colombian government; during the United Nations week in New York City he received the “We Are All Human Champion for Humanity” (We Are All Human – Champion of Humanity) and was crowned King of the Carnival of Calle Ocho in Miami, the largest Latin music festival in South Florida, becoming the first Colombian artist to receive this recognition.

Juan Fernando Fonseca, cantautor colombiano, ganador de siete Latin Grammy®, incursionó por primera vez en el ámbito artístico en el año 2002 con su álbum, Fonseca. La internacionalización de su carrera musical llegó en 2005 con su segundo disco Corazón y el éxito “Te Mando Flores”. A estos éxitos se sumaron ocho trabajos discográficos que han contado con múltiples #1 en radio y chart en Billboard, ellos son: Gratitud (2008), Ilusión (2011), Fonseca Sinfónico con la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia (2014), Conexión (2015), Homenaje a la música de Diomedes Díaz (2015), Agustín (2018) y Compadres (2020).

Fonseca también ha hecho parte de importantes iniciativas filantrópicas y sociales, primero, con la creación en el año 2017 de su Fundación Gratitud, y segundo, con su participación en varias oportunidades en la Gala Anual de la Fundación Maestro Cares, del cantante Marc Anthony, la actuación más reciente fue en diciembre de 2021 en New York.

Fonseca, quien ha recorrido con su música, Latinoamérica, Europa, China y Estados Unidos, ha logrado consolidar con total popularidad su carrera gracias a importantes giras, las más recientes y con éxito rotundo, fue la “Simples Corazones” y “Compadres Tour” con Andrés Cepeda, se recorrieron más de 25 ciudades en los Estados Unidos como : Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Orlando, Miami, Boston, Nueva York, Washington DC, Atlanta y Charlotte; llenando escenarios tan importantes como el FTX Arena de Miami.

Sus más recientes lanzamientos musicales, “Háblame Bajito” junto a Cimafunk, “Tú 1ero” y “2005”, junto a Greeicy, Cali y El Dandee, suman más de 12 millones de visualizaciones en YouTube y más de 14 millones de streams en Spotify. Ha colaborado también con: Jesse & Joy, Reik, Carlos Vives, Juanes, Victor Manuelle, Willie Colón, Miguel Bosé y Diego Torres, entre muchos otros.
