Roll up to The Rollup

The Rollup

Be a guest at The Rollup’s inaugural events this February! We’re hosting a VIP night and the Opening of our first-ever art show/sale, featuring uniquely painted skateboard decks by renowned DFW artists!

Both events will benefit the 4DWN Project: a skateboard park and food redistribution initiative here in Dallas. Both events will take place in our brand-new space: 2925 Clover St, just east of Blues Alley in Deep Ellum!

First, on Thursday, February 9 from 7 to 9, we invite you to join us at our VIP Party and the official opening of The Rollup’s first art show and fundraiser. As a guest of this VIP event, you will have the opportunity to preview and purchase work by some of DFW’s most prolific artists. The party will showcase more than 100 skateboard decks displaying original art by popular DFW artists. Come prepared to mix and mingle with the artists, enjoy a drink or two courtesy of Volcan De Mi Tierra tequila, and dance the night away to the tunes of our special guest Telephone House who will provide musical entertainment with their blend of “Classical, Jazz and Folk with hooky pop sensibilities.”

Purchase your ticket(s) through Eventbrite for only $25.

Next, on Saturday, February 11 from 4 to 6, The Rollup presents the Opening of it’s first art exhibition and sale of these uniquely painted skateboard decks by acclaimed DFW artists, benefiting the 4DWN Project! Our main event on Saturday will be free and open to the public.

For Saturday afternoon’s Opening, once again, bring those dancin’ shoes as we welcome DJ Wild In the Streets, who will be spinning a mix of “50s, 60s & 70s soul, funk, R&B, lounge, garage rock, vintage international pop & more…” And our friends at Fat Tire will be in attendance offering up their “crisp, bright, easy-drinking” ale.

The Rollup eagerly invites you to come ready to take in the sights and sounds of some of DFW’s favorite artists; to buy some fabulous, one-of-a-kind art; and to have some fun with fellow art lovers, do-gooders, skate-boarders and more!

And after our Opening on Saturday, February 11, let the good times roll on as you and yours make it a day AND night of local art by heading over to “For the Love of Kettle” at Kettle Art Gallery on Main Street (still in Deep Ellum… you won’t even have to move your car!).
