In 1987, The Adolphus and Children's Medical Center Dallas each reached historic milestones. In search of an appropriate way to celebrate the holidays and their 75th anniversaries, the hotel proposed the idea of a parade to kick off the holiday season for the city and bring families to downtown Dallas.
Since then, we have paraded down Commerce, bringing love, life, and joy to the hundreds of thousands of spectators and making our event the largest in Texas! And with fabulous sponsors such as Toyota of North America, AT&T, the AT&T Discovery District, and the Adolphus Hotel, we are sure to remain the official start of the holidays in Dallas and all of Texas for decades to come!
For bleacher seating, all children 24 months and younger who will not sit in an adult’s lap will need a ticket.
