Three masterpieces of Bach seasoned with the Romanticism of Schumann, Brahms and the Impressionism of Debussy. Violinist Cho-Liang Lin and pianist Juho Pohjonen perform some of the most remarkable chamber music composed by timeless masters like Bach, Schumann, Brahms and Debussy. Cho-Liang Lin, recipient of 2000 Musical America Instrumentalist of the Year Award, is well-known to CMI and worldwide audiences as one of the today’s foremost virtuosi of the violin. Juho Pohjonen is regarded as one of today’s most exciting and unique instrumentalists. An ardent exponent of Scandinavian music, Pohjonen’s growing discography offers a showcase of music by Finnish compatriots such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Kaija Saariaho and Jean Sibelius. He is also the developer of MyPianist an AI-based iOS app that provides interactive piano accompaniment.
