Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - by Tennessee Williams - Set in the plantation home of “Big Daddy” and “Big Mama” Pollitt in Mississippi of the 1950s. The family has gathered for Big Daddy’s birthday celebration and family deceits and long-held resentments are exposed in a tension-filled evening. Central to the story is the alcohol-fueled youngest son, Brick, and his wife, Maggie who is desperate to secure her place in the family.
