Camp Description:
The Americas were inhabited by distinct social and cultural groups that shared collective ancestral ties to the lands and natural resources before their displacement upon the arrival of Europeans. Many native people continue be leaders in our nations environmental efforts and stewards of threatened wildlife and ecosystems. In this camp we will learn about the Texas Blackland Prairie and deepen our connection to this ecological region by drawing native flowers, plants and animals.
