A pioneer of jazz funk, key figure of the acid jazz movement and dubbed the “Godfather of Neo Soul,” the legendary Roy Ayers is still touring around the world. The multi-talented vocalist, keyboardist and vibraphonist opens Jazz at Symphony Center Series performing a rousing evening of jazz, jazz-fusion, funk, acid jazz and soul jazz. A joint partnership with The Black Academy of Arts and Letters.
