Join Hurst's newest art gallery Art Shotz for an evening celebrating the photographic work of Texas artist and Hurst resident KC Hulsman. The free-to-attend themed art reception and exhibition, From Dusk ‘til Dawn, will spotlight sunsets and all the opportunities afforded by night skies until dawn. Artist remarks will explore what it takes to capture night skies in astrophotography: from understanding light pollution, how to work with astronomy and lunar cycles, and the impacts of weather and wildfires when trying to capture sunsets, the galactic center of the milky way, star trails, and more!

About the Artist: KC Hulsman is an award-winning Texas artist, whose photographic work has been exhibited from New York to Australia. Main ST. Arts Festival Fort Worth, one of the top 3 juried art festivals in all the U.S., named her an Emerging Artist in 2018. She has received awards from nationally juried art competitions, as well as highly coveted State Fair of Texas prize ribbons. Her work has been invited into juried regional, national, and international shows.
