UTD Center for BrainHealth Lecture at the Highland Park Library

The Highland Park Harvey R. "Bum" Bright Library is hosting a presentation by the Center for BrainHealth Senior Clinician, Katie Hinds, on Wednesday, August 24 at 12:00 p.m. The Center, part of The University of Texas at Dallas' School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, is a research institute focused exclusively on brain health that combines brain research with clinical interventions.

The topic of the lecture, which is free and open to the public, is Engage Cognitive Flexibility for Agile Thinking. Cognitive flexibility is the key to maintaining and advancing brain health as we age. Attendees will learn how to leverage Agile Thinking to generate and discover novel concepts, imagine future problems, and identify solutions from multiple viewpoints.

Katie Hinds facilitates SMART™ Brain Training and BrainHealthy Workplace™ programs with a variety of military, law enforcement, corporate, and student groups. She also leads individual and group coaching sessions focused on empowering individuals to utilize strategies for improved brain health and performance as part of The BrainHealth® Project.
