Celebrate our nation’s independence with your neighbors, family and friends on Friday night, July 1, at the Farmers Branch Historical Park! We’ve thrilled to feature the area’s best low-level fireworks show as well as lots of free activities for the kiddos including airbrush tattoos, balloon artists, strolling patriotic characters and the Ballistic Swing amusement ride. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got the high energy, party band Limelight to get you up and dancing!
There will be food and beverages for sale from Nuevo Leon Mex Mex, Bartley’s BBQ, Fletchers Corn Dogs & Funnel Cakes, Blackberry Winter Creamery, Tikiz Shaved Ice, and gourmet caramel apples from Taylor’s Sweetshop. Adult libations including beer and wine will be available for purchase at the event. Outside coolers are allowed, however, no alcohol can be brought into the event. We know you have a choice to bring in food, but we’d appreciate it if you and your family could patronize these wonderful vendors.
Event hours are from 6:30 – 10 p.m., and once again, the Firecracker Fast Pass will be available to all residents and allows for free, early entry.
Back again are the VIP cabanas! Priced at only $200, these reserved tents offer a great way to enjoy the event as well as provide the benefit of on-site parking. (SOLD OUT)

- Admission is free for Farmers Branch residents with the Firecracker Fast Pass
- Parking is at Metro Square: 12300 Ford Rd.
- Handicap Parking is in designated parking spots on Ford Rd. and ADA golf carts are available
- VIP parking is at the Historical Park parking lot
- Farmers Branch residents who arrive at the Historical Park gates without a Firecracker Fast Pass can still enjoy free entry but will need to present a photo ID that shows a Farmers Branch address at the gate
- Gates open at 6 p.m. for “Firecracker Fast Pass” holders
- Non-residents $5 per person purchased at the gate
