Join us for a free workshop series featuring the art of Capoeira. Participants will learn dance moves, music and acrobatics that have their origins in Brazil. The art of Capoeira is historically tied to Brazilian slaves that developed it as a way to disguise the fact that they were practicing fight moves. Capoeira was camouflaged as a folk dance that came to be banned by the government. Today, Capoeira is a mixture of dance, acrobatics and music!
