"Summer Shakes" Two-Week Theatre Day Camp at TCU

Theatre TCU

Calling all Shakespeare and stage-loving people from 3rd grade to high school grad!

Theatre TCU offers a fun, two-week day camp planned full of Shakespeare-focused fun, learning, and acting! We will play theatre improv games, learn about the Bard himself and his place in literary history all while working on a (very) short version of one of his well-loved plays. The two-week camp culminates with a public performance for friends and family on one of Theatre TCU's stages. Weekly guest artists keep things interesting as theatre artists from DFW visit with campers and share their training in Shakespeare and the stage.

Do you need to be an actor? NO! We have had children of all ages and experience grace our Summer Shakes stage!
Our camp runs 06/13-06/24 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday,  with before and after care available for an additional fee. Certified Theatre teachers will be teaching each class and TCU student interns will also be on site to support the learning and provide a safe and fun atmosphere.
