New York City born artist Francesca d’Atria-Romano showcases her acrylic paintings of rugged and beautiful Texas landspaces. D’Atria-Romano’s work features notable Texas landscapes and canyons embellished with gemstones in a beautiful ode to her new home state.
From her artist statement: “Using my impasto technique I try to capture the rocky and dry atmosphere in landscape. I also incorporate crystals and semi-precious gemstones onto my paintings giving them a three dimensional effect. I feel that the crystals and gemstones help create a therapeutic balance and beauty inherent in each piece of artwork.”
