Pegasus Theatre presents the World Premiere of the 21st Harry Hunsacker adventure, Prime Time for Murder! at the Eisemann Center in Richardson December 29, 2021 through January 16, 2022.
The play takes place in a television studio where the program Mystery Theater is broadcast live. The year is 1950 and television is in its infancy. Harry, Nigel, and Lt. Foster have been invited to the studio by the producer of Mystery Theater, Waldorf Killian, to be consultants on the show. But when bodies start turning up, our trio will have to defend one of their own and find the real killer before it’s too late!
New Year’s Eve will be especially festive! In addition to the show, there will be champagne and cake after the show, and plenty of funny hats and noisemakers to ring in the New Year!
For the past 35 years, Pegasus Theatre has astonished and delighted audiences with its trademarked Living Black & White™ technique. Everything is presented in black, white, and shades of gray to mimic the look of an old black and white film come to life on stage. You won’t believe your eyes, especially when the Lady In Red (Stephanie Felton) makes her appearance!
Broadway veteran (A Chorus Line) Michael Serrecchia directs a cast that includes Ben Bryant as Nigel Grouse, Chad Cline as Lt. Foster, and Scott Nixon as Harry Hunsacker. Rounding out the cast are Natalia Borja, Selmore Haines III, La Keisha Leonard, Jonah Munroe, Alex Moore, Leslie Patrick, Sheila D. Rose, Michael Speck, and Antonio Thomas.
Ticket prices include a mandatory Eisemann Center building maintenance fee. This project is funded in part, by the City of Richardson through the Cultural Arts Commission. Child is 12 and under for a discount. Senior discount requirement is 55+. Discounts not available for Sneak Previews or New Year's Eve.
