Save the date for the University of North Texas Division of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) annual Equity & Diversity Conference! The virtual 2022 Equity & Diversity Conference presented by Fidelity Investments themed "IDEAs for Change: History, Hope, and Progress." With two tracks in academic and corporate, workshop session topics range from workplace climate to self-care to bias awareness. We are proud to feature Dr. Annette Gordon-Reed (she/her), author of the book "On Juneteenth" as this year's keynote speaker and Dr. Stephen John Quaye (he/him) as the social justice speaker presented by Mayhill Hospital.
The conference is the perfect opportunity for educators, administrators, and professionals to expand their diversity and inclusion knowledge and network with a diverse group of attendees from around the country. This year's conference will bring back the career fair that debuted in 2020, and provide opportunities for centering the effects of historical and present-day oppression on underrepresented communities for progress and change.
