Light Eternal

Arborlawn United Methodist Church

The Fort Worth Chorale makes its joyous return to live concerts this fall with a season of powerful and uplifting concerts.  Our 59th season is a musical celebration of our human ability to find hope in the journey through life, to rise to challenges from within and discover joy in the simple act of being together and remembering our blessings.  Our season of music is sure to bring comfort, inspiration and delight!

Our season grad finale with orchestra features the Durufle Requiem, Karl Jenkins Te Deum, Faure Cantique de Jean Racine, and Let the People Praise Thee composed by William Mathias for Prince Charles and Lady Diana's wedding in 1981. Understandably one of the most enduring choral masterworks of the 20th century, Durufle's Requiem is alternately haunting, terrifying, comforting, and deeply stirring. Karl Jenkins' brilliant, cinematic setting of the Te Deum deserves its place as the joyous finale of our season.
