Artist Bio

Cheyann Schott is an independent artist living in Texas, who has been painting and creating from a very young age. With only a few art classes throughout high school and college, she owes her start to her favorite artist, her grandmother, who put the first paint brush in her hand and has supported her dream from the very beginning. Inspired by many things, Cheyann got her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of North Texas, which has opened new avenues in her art career to include fashion inspired pieces, as well as her abstract pieces. Even at times when life got in the way of art, the pull to a creative life was always too great. Like Vincent Van Gogh once said, “The only time I feel alive is when I’m painting.” Loving every minute of her artistic journey, Cheyann is consistently motivated and eager to continuing
