This year, the store will feature its first-ever Thrifty Thursday series with extended shopping hours until 7 p.m., exclusive Thrifty Thursday discounts, special happy hours, and fun workshops.

  • September 23 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.: North Texas Giving Day - Support Dwell with Dignity on North Texas’ largest giving day by shopping at Thrift Studio or making a donation.

Throughout the entire month at Thrift Studio, shoppers will find stunning vignettes curated by leading designers, showrooms, and retailers, showcasing the donated high-end furniture and home decor pieces available for sale at significant discounts. All proceeds will benefit Dwell with Dignity’s mission of helping families with children escape poverty and homelessness through design - one household at a time.

This year, the designers selected include AF Home Interior, Chase Dowell Interior Design, Kara Legako Design, Mary Beth Wagner Interiors, Meredith Ellis Design, The Collective, Tori Rubinson Interiors, and Yates Desygn. Thrift Studio also curates original works of art donated by local artists, and this year, they’ll showcase over 50 pieces that will be available for purchase during the pop-up.

Since the concept launched in Dallas in 2011, the event has grown into a highly anticipated and can’t-miss event for DwD supporters, the interior design community, and the general public looking for a fabulous deal on home furnishings. Thrift Studio provides one-third of the operating revenue that allows DwD to change lives through design by bringing transformational home interior design services to those who can afford it the least. The nonprofit is dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty by providing and installing home interiors designed to make their new house feel like home.

Thrift Studio  is open August 27 through September 25 / Monday-Saturday / 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Closed on Labor Day, September 6.
