Modern Kids Summer Flicks Two

Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

Challenging expectations and reflecting growth and resilience, NYICFF Kid Flicks Two is a fantastic trip on the road to growing up. Surprises in a dumpling bring good luck, and many reflections, in the beautiful stop-motion animation The Coin. In The One You Never Forget, a young teen tries to keep his first date under wraps, but his parents have other ideas. In Home Away 3000, a space traveler’s funky space van conks out on an unknown planet with plenty of surprises.

Share the art of the screen with your children as they watch stories unfold and ideas form in delightful and innovative films, presented in partnership with the New York International Children’s Film Festival. The bonus for seeing these films at the Modern is the opportunity to visit the galleries before or after and experience the wonder of the paintings, sculptures, and photographs throughout the museum, including our special exhibition, Sean Scully: The Shape of Ideas.

Enjoy a fun, artful, inspired, and thought-provoking day with your family!

Admission is free and open to the public. Films are shown in the Modern’s auditorium, and seating is limited to the first 250 guests. Admission to the galleries is free for film festival guests. All ages are welcome!
