We will have games and fun for the whole family. A special reading by Michael Brundy of Frederick Douglass’s famous Independence Day Speech will also be read during the festivities. Enjoy BBQ from Smokey Ray’s BBQ and cool off with Kona Ice!

This year, our Old-Fashioned Fourth event will be raising money for our favorite neighbors, Vogel Alcove. Vogel Alcove is an early childhood center located directly across the street from the Village that provides extraordinary childcare and services to Dallas homeless children. Half of our gate proceeds will go directly to Vogel Alcove to help them continue to support homeless families and children & their families will have free admission to the event!
