Jackie Minton and Delaney Ramsdell met while studying music in Nashville, Tennessee cir. 2018. The pair became fast friends over their mutual love for songwriting, tea, and their home state of Texas. Both strong folk artists in their own right, together they form an unmatched harmony of heart and song.
Originally from Roosevelt, TX (population 18), Delaney Ramsdell comes at songwriting with a method steeped in tradition and innovative in nature. She covers a wide range of genres with her evocative melodies and thoughtful lyricism, writing with notable artists and songwriters from all across the country. Ramsdell helped pen songs like “What Mercy Did For Me” (recorded by Micah Tyler, Maranda Curtis, Jason Crabb) and “Jesus You Are” (recorded by Bridges Nashville). Born and raised in Arlington, TX (population 400,316), Jackie Minton melds folk inspirations with pop sensibilities, blurring the line between the sacred and the secular. Her debut EP Searching for Now gained the affection of listeners from around the globe in 2016. Three years later she released her anticipated single “Remind” as a part of Awaken, a collaborative project with Paper Castle Records. Minton’s debut LP explores the power of an honest perspective.
