Lin-Manuel Miranda + Friends Live! Zoom Book Launch & Conversation for "In The Heights: Finding Home"

*Virtual Event

Join award-winning composer, lyricist and performer Lin-Manuel Miranda and his equally talented and notable co-collaborators for a very special LIVE! via Zoom book launch and lively conversation about "In The Heights: Finding Home" on Tuesday, June 15, from 7 to 8 p.m. CST. This special evening is hosted by Pretty Things & Cool Stuff's Book Shop and PenguinRandomHouse.

Before Hamilton became a global phenomenon and before Lin-Manuel Miranda became a household name, a little show called In The Heights shook up Broadway with its hip-hop and salsa soundtrack and a big, bilingual heart. "In The Heights: Finding Home" is the eagerly awaited follow up to New York Times #1 bestseller "Hamilton: The Revolution".

In the new book, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Quiara Alegria Hudes and Jeremy McCarter tell the story of  In The Heights' humble beginnings, from rehearsals in a bookstore basement to Broadway smash that created an unbreakable community and a new kind of family for all involved. This amazing and inspirational story also will unfold in the highly anticipated summer film that will premiere on June 11!

Lin-Manuel will be joined during this event by his creative partners Quiara Alegria Hudes and Jeremy McCarter for an evening for inside insights and lively and memorable conversation about creativity, community and finding home. Award-winning actor, director and producer America Ferrera will serve as guest moderator for the evening. They also will be answering questions that have been submitted by the audience!

Tickets are required for this exciting event, and each includes a hardcover copy of "In The Heights: Finding Home". Ticket prices range from $43.30 to $48.72 and include the retail price of this behind-the-scenes book — which retails for $40 — as well as sales tax and Media Mail shipping, if appropriate. (The book will be published on June 15 and purchased books will be made available after the event. The books will not be signed.)
