This intensive weekend course will introduce students to sketch comedy starting with commercials and character monologues. Students will learn the basics of comedy writing and then use them to generate funny scenarios and interesting characters from scratch. On Sunday, students will revise and refine their material with feedback while learning how to put their work on stage, culminating in a showcase of monologues and scenes on Sunday night at 8pm.
