Spring Celebration - Virtual Event

Dallas Black Dance Theatre

This is a virtual event

Don’t miss Dallas Black Dance Theatre's virtual Spring Celebration performance, a spellbinding season finale that incapsulates the year of the pandemic through dance.

Guest artist Alicia Graf Mack performs a sentimental solo Don’t Stop from a New York City rooftop. The music was composed by Academy award-winning artist Jon Batiste. Dean and Director of Dance at The Juilliard School, Graf Mack was a former principal dancer at both the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Dance Theatre of Harlem during her esteemed career.

A Tender Pardon takes you on an emotional journey through forgiveness and unconditional love, choreographed by Claude Alexander III.

Evidence of Souls Not Seen is an emotionally moving male trio, a beautiful requiem that expresses mourning the deaths of those we hold close to our hearts, choreographed by Lloyd Whitmore.
