Photo Walk: Fair Park

This is an in-person and virtual event

For over a century, Fair Park has been an architectural gem and an important part of Dallas, and Texas, history. While many of us have only experienced the park during the State Fair, this photo walk will allow us to get an informed look at some of the striking buildings and details that give Fair Park its unique flair.
We'll begin with a guided tour by a Fair Park preservationist who will tell us about the park's unique history. After our tour, attendees will be able to walk around the park independently. Our instructor will be there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and give some feedback on your photos.
A few days before the photo walk we'll meet online for a brief Zoom session to go over logistics.

Your instructor will give you some ideas of what to expect and photography tips to get you ready.
You must wear a mask during this photo walk.
