The SMU Organ Studio will present its spring recital with works by a variety of composers. Included will be Jehan Alain’s Trois Danses (Three Dances), performed by Joshua Boyd; Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in C Major BWV 545, performed by Yunjung Lee, and O Lamm Gottes unschuldig (O innocent Lamb of God) BWV 656, by Julian Petrallia; Dietrich Buxtehude’s Prelude in e BuxWV 142 by Kamilya Akhmetova; Herbert Howells’ Master Tallis’s Testament by Jacob Hord; and excerpts from Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur (The Birth of the Savior) by Nicholas Halbert. The concert will be pre-recorded and presented on YouTube and Facebook on March 11 at 7:30 p.m. The Facebook page is www.facebook.com/smuorgan.
