Figure Drawing (6 week class)

These are in-person classes

Learn the skill of hand-eye coordination for drawing the human figure using a live model. This class will teach you how to “get it down on paper” through the use of exercises which make viewing the figure and the relationship of all of the parts make sense. You will learn basic fundamentals of gesture, contour and line related to seeing the figure. Through practice you will gain an understanding of the basic skeleton and muscles which make up the foundation of the human form.

Skills acquired in this course include:

  • Familiarity and best practices of drawing with a live model.
  • Apprehension of basic anatomy as it applies to drawing.
  • Fundamentals of gesture, contour and line.

NOTE: This is a 6 week class
