Interpreting Renditions of Interaction

Moncrief Cancer Institute - Gallery Space

THIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT

Moncrief Cancer Institute, in conjunction with the Texas Christian University (TCU) School of Art, presents Interpreting Renditions of Interaction, featuring a diverse selection of 11 works by TCU’s faculty artists. These artworks represent explorations of three spheres of human interaction: self, community, and nature. The artists’ visual displays of meaning in their own lives, communities, and environments investigate the impact of relationships on the human experience through a range of new and traditional media.

The goal of Interpreting Renditions of Interaction is to provide viewers with a chance to find correlations to their own lives among the themes presented and have fun finding similarities between the works on display.

Featured artists include Amanda Allison, Kalee Appleton, Nick Bontrager, Lynné Bowman Cravens, Adam Fung, Dan Jian, Dick Lane, Rachel Livedalen, Mary Nangah, Chris Powell, and Cameron Schoepp. This exhibition is curated by TCU MA Art History students Madeline Boehm, Paula Contreras, and Emma Thompson with special thanks to fellow students Hailey Boutelle and Kathryn Schneider.
