Mu Phi Epsilon Concert: Carlos Audi, cello and Adam Booher, piano - Virtual Event

Mu Phi Epsilon Dallas Alumni Chapter presents Carlos Audi, cello and Adam Booher, piano in concert on March 28th, 2021.  These concerts are usually held at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library First Floor Auditorium in Dallas TX but at this current time library is closed and we will be holding our online on our website at http://muphiepsilondallas.org until further notice.Dr. Carlos Audi has performed numerous solo and chamber concerts in the United States, Germany, Austria, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Argentina, and Brazil. In addition, he has been a member of several orchestras in Brazil and in the United States such as the Orquestra Sinfônica de Santo André, the Orquestra Experimental de Repertório, the Orquestra Sinfônica da Universidade de São Paulo, the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tallahassee, Augusta and Albany Symphony Orchestras, and the Opera Tampa Orchestra.
Pianist Adam Booher’s musicianship has been described as “thrilling,” and “full of emotional energy” (NashvilleArts). Mr. Booher frequently performs as collaborative pianist at Florida College, and in May of 2018, he performed as pianist with the Florida College Chorus in Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall. In an upcoming 2021 tour accompanying the Florida College Chorus, Mr. Booher will perform in Italy. Mr. Booher also performs regularly with cellist Dr. Carlos Audi, with recent and upcoming concerts occurring at universities and recital halls in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. Mr. Booher serves as Professor of Music at Florida College, where he teaches applied piano and music theory. For the past two years, he has received the top-rated activities professor award at Florida College, given to the teacher with the highest overall student ratings in non-lecture courses.
