Call for volunteer art instructors

Jaycee Park Center for the Arts

We're looking for volunteer instructors in arts & crafts to teach workshops at our art center in Irving (the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts.)   Share your knowledge and practice your teaching techniques!
We are planning now for the winter and spring schedule. Please apply by April 1st.

Because of the pandemic, we are limiting the number of workshops and the number of students, plus observing distancing and anti-infection protocols. (Depending upon the pandemic, events may need to be rescheduled.)

Workshops can be scheduled for 2 hours on Thursday or Friday nights or during the day, including weekends. They can be a series of workshops. In this model, instruction is free, but a small materials fee may be charged for special supplies. Normally, students are expected to bring their own supplies.

If interested, please contact the IAA board at [email protected]. Include your suggestions for workshops, your background or resume, and samples of your work (images.)
We are also interested in instructors who want to teach fee-based or longer workshops, especially on the weekends.
