Millermuller ballet opens the ‘20-‘21 season with our 5th annual 'Danse Macabre' performance. Our evening opens with "Oiseaux du Paradis" (Birds of Paradise) and delights the audience with the hauntingly exotic music of Zoltan Kodaly. The program continues with works that encompass a variety of styles. Subtly humorous ballet comique, elegant classical ballets and powerful contemporary works are danced to music by Puccini, Grieg and Vangelis. Ghostly strains fill our stage as the title ballet, "Danse Macabre", brings the evening to a close in an evocative orchestral poem by Camille Saint-Saens.
